Right Light Photography

As conventional matting and framing of fine art is very expensive, we have adopted a popular dry-mounting technique for displaying photography that gives the image a contemporary look at a fraction of the cost of traditional framing.

 

The Mini-Float bonds the photograph onto 3/8" medium density fiber board with acid free DMT dry-mount material, which is then heat activated for a permanent bond. The image is then finished with a UV protective layer, guarding it from environmental damage. The durable surface may be wiped clean regularly without damaging the image. The edges are beveled and finished in black. The entire image then "floats" 3/8 of an inch from the wall, and is hung from a French Cleat attachment to the wall.
